Through use of thought-provoking and inspiring photographs captured by world-renowned photographer and children’s advocate Anne Geddes (, the project will highlight the impact this sudden, aggressive disease can have on survivors and families.

Working closely with various regional advocacy organizations around the world, and the Confederation of Meningitis Organisations (CoMO) ( on a global level, Protecting Our Tomorrows will highlight powerful stories of survival and loss.

As global ambassador, Anne Geddes is traveling the world through spring 2014 to capture these inspirational images. The complete image collection will feature approximately 12 participants from countries around the world – including Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Spain and the UK – and will be made available to the public in an eBook on World Meningitis Day, April 24, 2014.
